Datatrend Wins IBM PartnerWorld Beacon Award for Best IBM System x™ Solution
IBM awarded Datatrend Technologies with a PartnerWorld Beacon Award at the 2007 IBM PartnerWorld
conference held in St. Louis April 29 – May 2. The award was for the "Best IBM System x Solution"
category. Accepting the award on behalf of Datatrend was Charlie Cox (Sr. VP Sales and Marketing),
Matt Maetzold (Account Executive, NGN Sales), and Darren Waldrep (VP Strategic Alliances).
The solution involved a turnkey infrastructure appliance based on IBM BladeCenter
and the BroadWorks VoIP application platform from BroadSoft, Inc. running in the Linux operating
environment.
